Releasing Fuel Pressure

To release fuel pressure from fuel injection system, loosen gasoline cap to release tank pressure. Remove wiring harness connector from injector. Ground one injector terminal and touch battery positive post for no longer than 10 seconds. Remove jumper wires.

CAUTION: Always bleed off the fuel pressure from injectors and fuel rail before attempting any service procedures or repair on the fuel handling area of the fuel injection system.
