Catalytic Converter: Service and Repair

The catalytic converters are not serviceable. Symptoms determining catalytic converter failure may include:
- Restricted air flow out of exhaust.
- Excessive exhaust rattle.
- Converter material in muffler.

After determining that the catalyst has lost its effectiveness, the catalytic converter assembly must be replaced.
