Ignition Lock: Service and Repair

1. Remove steering column lower cover.
2. Fabricate rod shown in Fig. 1.
3. Set ignition key to Accessory position.
4. Using fabricated rod, push in stop pin, then draw out cylinder, Fig. 2.
5. Index pawl groove and ignition key to Accessory position, Fig. 3.
6. Insert key cylinder. Ensure stop pin is locked to lock cylinder.
7. Install steering column lower cover.
