Module, Drivetrain Control (DTCM): Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the cowl side trim panel (1). Refer to PANEL, COWL TRIM, REMOVAL .

  3. Pull back the driver foot well carpet and position aside to access the Drivetrain Control Module (DTCM) (3).
  4. Remove the DTCM mounting fasteners (2) and (4) from the mounting studs (5) and (6).
  5. Remove the DTCM from the vehicle.
