Valve, Short Runner: Installation

NOTE:

Do not reuse the old Short Runner Valve (SRV) actuator O-ring seal (1).

  1. Install a new  SRV actuator rubber O-ring seal (1).

  2. Install the SRV actuator (2). tighten bolts (1) to the proper torque. Refer to FUEL INJECTION, GAS, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the intake manifold. Refer to MANIFOLD, INTAKE, INSTALLATION, 3.6L or MANIFOLD, INTAKE, INSTALLATION, 5.7L .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
