Five Volt Sensor Supplies - Primary And Secondary

Primary 5-volt supply:

  1. supplies the required 5 volt power source to the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor.
  2. supplies the required 5 volt power source to the oil pressure sensor (if equipped).
  3. supplies the required 5 volt power source to the Pedal Value Sensor #1.
  4. supplies a reference voltage for the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) sensors 1 & 2.

Secondary 5-volt supply:

  1. supplies the required 5 volt power source for the Camshaft Position Sensor.
  2. supplies the 5 volt power source to the EGR position sensor (if equipped).
  3. supplies a reference voltage for the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor.
  4. supplies the 5 volt power source to the Pedal Value Sensor #2, SRV Position Feedback sensor (if equipped).
  5. supplies the 5 volt power source to the transmission variable line pressure sensor (if equipped with 42RLE transmission).
