3.3/3.8L Engine

Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
Remove accessory drive belt. Refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE .
Remove generator mounting bolts and reposition generator. Refer to REMOVAL .
Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector from the EGR valve.
Remove the 2 EGR tube bolts.

Remove the 2 mounting bolts for the EGR valve and gasket.
