Engine Block: Plate-Flex: Installation

  1. Position flex plate (1) with backing plate (3) on the crankshaft.
  2. Apply Mopar® Lock & Seal Adhesive to the (8) flex plate bolts.
  3. Install flex plate bolts in a cross pattern (2) and tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (177 in. lbs.) and then to 45 N.m (33 ft. lbs.) and then tighten the bolts an additional 90 degrees.
