Front Impact Sensor
- Open hood, disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- Wait two minutes for the system reserve capacitor to discharge before beginning any system or component service.
- Remove the headlamp unit of the side in which you are replacing the sensor (Refer to ELECTRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/HEADLAMP UNIT - REMOVAL)
.
- Through the headlamp opening, remove the two mounting screws retaining the front impact sensor. See Fig 1.

- Disconnect electrical connector.
- Remove sensor from vehicle.
