Occupant Restraint Controller: Removal
- Open hood.
- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- Wait two minutes for the system reserve capacitor to discharge before servicing any airbag components.
- Remove the center console.
- Remove ORC module mounting nuts and ground eyelet, then remove module. See Fig 1.

- Disconnect ORC 23-way connector.
- Remove ORC from vehicle.
