July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Caster Adjustment

  1. Open hood and mark position of all 4 strut assembly upper mounting bolts. See Figure . Raise and support vehicle by frame. Loosen strut assembly mounting bolts enough to remove plastic locating pins. Using a punch or pliers, remove and discard locating pins.
  2. Lightly tighten strut assembly mounting bolts to position as marked. Lower vehicle until vehicle weight is supported by suspension. Bounce vehicle several times and allow suspension to settle. Push forward or rearward at top of strut assembly as required to obtain specification. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS  . Ensure top of strut assembly does not move inward or outward unless a camber change is needed. Tighten upper strut assembly bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
