Installation - Left Side

  1. Install converter.
  2. Attach a NEW V-Band clamp and tighten to 11 N.m (100 in.lbs.) (Figure ).
  3. Install and/or tighten nut attaching pipe to transaxle bracket to 47 N.m (35 ft. lbs.) (Figure ).
  4. Install downstream oxygen sensor and connect electrical connector (Refer to O2 SENSOR ).
  5. Install exhaust system (Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM  ).
  6. Lower vehicle.
  7. Start the engine and inspect for exhaust leaks. Repair exhaust leaks as necessary.
  8. Check the exhaust system for contact with the body panels. Make the necessary adjustments, if needed.
