Fuel Injectors (Using DVOM)

NOTE: For fuel injector circuit testing, see DTCs P0201-P0204: INJECTORS NO. 1-4 CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - SEBRING COUPE & STRATUS COUPE - 2.4L article. Manufacturer recommends connecting Test Connector (MB991709) to fuel injector during testing procedure.
NOTE: Listen to injectors during cranking and at idle. They should make ticking sound. Frequency of sound should increase as engine speed increases.

Disconnect fuel injector 2-pin electrical connector. Measure resistance between injector terminals. Resistance should be 13-16 ohms at 68°F (20°C). If resistance is not as specified, replace fuel injector.
