July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Draining & Refilling: Differential

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove differential fill plug from differential side cover. See Figure . Remove differential drain plug located on bottom of differential housing. Allow fluid to drain from differential.
  2. Install and tighten differential drain plug to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Fill differential with appropriate fluid until fluid is even with bottom of fill hole. See RECOMMENDED FLUIDS  . Install and tighten differential filler plug to specification.
