July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Removal & Installation

  1. Raise window to full-up position, if possible. Disconnect battery. Remove door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL  . Remove window regulator. See WINDOW REGULATOR  .
  2. Disconnect wire connector from motor. Using a "C" clamp, clamp sector gear to regulator mounting plate to prevent regulator movement. See Fig 1 .
  3. Remove motor from regulator. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten motor mounting screws. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Adjust window alignment, if necessary. See DOOR WINDOW  under ADJUSTMENTS.
