DTC P0505: Idle Air Control Motor Circuits: Description

Circuit is monitored with ignition on and battery voltage more than 11.5 volts. DTC will set when PCM senses a short to ground or battery voltage on any of the 4 Idle Air Control (IAC) motor circuits for 2.75 seconds while IAC motor is active. Possible causes are: defective IAC motor, IAC motor driver circuit open or shorted, or defective PCM.
