DTC P0551: Power Steering Switch Failure: Description

Circuit is monitored with engine running. DTC will set when vehicle speed is more than 40 MPH for more than 30 seconds and power steering pressure switch remains open. Possible causes are: defective power steering pressure switch, ground circuit open, sense circuit open or shorted to ground, or defective PCM.
