Air Bag System Check

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2000 Dodge Intrepid, 2000 Chrysler LHS, 2000 Chrysler Intrepid, 2000 Chrysler Concorde, and 2000 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. With battery disconnected, connect DRB scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located on left kick panel above hood release. Turn ignition switch to ON position and exit vehicle with scan tool.
  2. Ensure no one is in vehicle, then connect negative battery cable. Using scan tool, read and record all active and stored DTCs. If any DTCs are present, go to DIAGNOSTICS  . If no DTCs are present, erase DTCs (active DTCs will not erase). Go to AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT CHECK  .
