Power Seat System: Operation

The front control switch moves seat up, down, forward, backward, tilt forward, tilt backward. The recliner switch moves back of seat up and down.

The heated seat system uses a seat cover mounted sensor to provide input to each HSCM. HSCM will energize an internal relay, supplying power to each heating element. When temperature reaches preset limit, HSCM will turn off relay. System will not operate if short in heating element or open in sensor circuit exists.
