Power Seat System: Description

The power seats can be adjusted in 8 directions: up, down, forward, backward, tilt forward, tilt backward, recline up and recline down. Power seat system consists of 4 reversible motors and transmission located on seat tracks. Circuit is protected by fuse No. 26 (40-amp) in Power Distribution Center (PDC) and a 30-amp circuit breaker located in wire harness under driver's seat.

Vehicle may have optional heated seats. Heated seat components include; seat mounted switches with indicator LEDs, individual Heated Seat Control Modules (HSCM), seat cover mounted heating elements and sensors. Driver and passenger can select off, low or high heating for each seat. Low temperature is about 90°F (35°C) and high temperature is about 100°F (40°C). Heated seat system is supplied power from power seat relay when ignition is on.
