Description & Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1998 Dodge Intrepid and 1998 Chrysler Concorde. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Power windows are operated by a permanent-magnet electric motor mounted in each door. Driver's power window switch provides ground to each motor. A 20-amp circuit breaker is used to protect circuit. Electric motor operation is changed by reversing electric current flow.
