Air Induction System: Turbochargers: Notes

Turbocharging system is mounted on exhaust manifold side of engine. System includes a turbine assembly, center housing rotating assembly, compressor assembly, wastegate, and throttle body. Turbine is spun by exhaust gas causing compressor wheel to compress incoming air charge into manifold.
