Slip Rings
- Inspect outside circumference of slip rings for dirt or roughness. If necessary, clean or polish slip rings with fine sandpaper.
- If slip rings are badly worn or roughened, rotor assembly must be replaced. Slip rings are not serviced as a separate item. They are serviced with rotor assembly.
