Removal Procedure

- NOTE:
Use a small flat-bladed tool to disengage integral tabs on caro tie down loop bolt cap
Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt Cap (1) - Remove [ 2x ]
- Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt (2) - Remove [ 2x ]
- Cargo Tie Down Loop (3) - Remove [ 2x ]
Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim (1) - Remove
Use a small flat-bladed tool to disengage integral tabs on rear end trim finish panel opening cover (1).
- Rear End Trim Finish Panel Opening Cover (1) - Remove
With a flat bladed plastic trim tool, disengage the integral clips.
- Rear End Trim Finish Panel (1) - Remove
- NOTE:
Carefully manipulate the deck lid hinge opening of the rear compartment side trim past the hinge cover.
Rear Compartment Side Trim Insulator Retainer (1) - Remove [ 3x ]
- Rear Compartment Side Trim-Left Side (2) - Reposition away
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
Disengage the retaining tabs (1).
- Rear Body Fuse Block Cover (2) - Remove
Body Harness Terminal Nut (1) - Remove [ 4x ]
- Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) - Remove [ 3x ]
- Retainer (4) - Disengage [ 2x ]
- Battery Positive Cable (3) - Remove [ 2x ]
- Body Harness Terminal (5) - Remove[ 5x ]
Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) - Loosen
- Disengage the 2 retaining tabs and reposition the battery distribution fuse block (2).
Electrical Connector (2) - Disconnect
- Battery Distribution Fuse Block (1) - Remove
