Wheel Alignment - Steering Wheel Angle and/or Front Toe Adjustment

  1. Perform the wheel alignment measurement and adjust all other settings prior to setting front toe. Wheel Alignment Measurement

    Steering Gear Boot Clamp(1) - Disengage

  3. Steering Linkage Inner Tie Rod Nut(2) - Loosen

    Rotate the inner tie rod (1) as necessary to achieve the required front toe specification setting. Wheel Alignment Specifications

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Steering Linkage Inner Tie Rod Nut(2) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications 

  6. Steering Gear Boot Clamp(1) - Engage
  7. Check the front toe setting after tightening.
  8. Re-adjust the front toe setting if necessary.
  9. Center the steering wheel position sensor. Steering Wheel Angle Sensor Centering
