Rear Side Door Latch Replacement

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure 
Remove the rear side door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Replacement (Hatchback) , and Rear Side Door Trim Replacement (Sedan) .
1 Rear Side Door Lock Screw (Qty: 3)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedures

  1. Remove the water deflector.
  2. Release the rear inside door handle cable retainers from the door.
  3. Remove the rear side door window rear guide. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Rear Guide Replacement .

Tighten 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
2 Rear Side Door Lock Assembly

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the rear side door lock electrical connector.
  2. Transfer the rear side door lock rods.
  3. Rear outside door handle rod adjustment. Refer to Rear Side Door Outside Handle Rod Adjustment .
