Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .

    Disconnect the body harness connector (1) from the battery current sensor (2).

  4. Remove the battery negative and positive cable ground nut (3) and the battery negative cable from the frame rail.

    NOTE:

    Note the orientation of the battery current sensor when removing.

    Remove the battery current sensor (2) from the battery negative cable (1).
