Removal Procedure

- Disconnect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
Disconnect the body harness connector (1) from the battery current sensor (2).
- Remove the battery negative and positive cable ground nut (3) and the battery negative cable from the frame rail.
- NOTE:
Note the orientation of the battery current sensor when removing.
Remove the battery current sensor (2) from the battery negative cable (1).
