Installation Procedure

    Steering Gear Boot Inner Clamp (3) @ Steering Gear Boot (2) - Loosely install

    Install a NEW clamp.

  2. Apply the lubricant from the service kit to the steering linkage inner tie rod and to the steering gear boot.
  3. Steering Gear Boot (2) - Install

    Use the CH - 804  tensioner to tighten the steering gear boot inner clamp (1).

    Steering Gear Boot Outer Clamp (2) - Install

  6. Steering Linkage Inner Tie Rod Nut (1) - Install
  7. Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod - Install - Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod Replacement 
  8. Measure and adjust the front toe. Wheel Alignment - Steering Wheel Angle and/or Front Toe Adjustment
