Installation Procedure

  1. GM2498838

    Connect the clutch pedal position sensor wiring harness connector.

  2. Install the clutch pedal position sensor (1).
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the clutch pedal position sensor bolt (2) and tighten to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
  4. Install the instrument panel knee bolster. Refer to Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Replacement (Buick)Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Replacement (Chevrolet) .
  5. Learn clutch pedal position sensor. Refer to Clutch Pedal Position Learn .
