Removal Procedure
WARNING:
The noise cancelling foam component MUST be replaced if it has been exposed to engine fluids. Failure to replace the noise cancelling foam component that has been exposed to engine fluids may result in an engine fire resulting in catastrophic engine damage, and possible injury or death.
- Remove Engine Cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement
- Remove Fuel Return Pipe. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Return Pipe Replacement
- Remove Fuel Injection Fuel Rail. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement
- Remove Intake Manifold Tuning Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve - Refer to Intake Manifold Tuning Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve Replacement
- Electrical Connector (1) @ Fuel Injector (2) [4x]
- Remove Engine Wiring Harness Clip (3) @ Valve Rocker Arm Cover Stud
- Remove Fuel Injector Deadener (1)
