Preliminary Procedure Remove the liftgate trim finish panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Finish Panel Replacement .
1	Rear Closure Fixed Handle Applique Nut (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 4.7 N.m (42 lb in)
2	Rear Closure Fixed Handle Applique Procedures Disconnect the electrical connector. Using the appropriate tool, remove the applique from the liftgate. Release the grommet and guide the connector through the liftgate. Transfer all necessary components. Position the applique to the rear compartment lid and press inner retainers into place.

Procedures

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Using the appropriate tool, remove the applique from the liftgate.
Release the grommet and guide the connector through the liftgate.
Transfer all necessary components.
Position the applique to the rear compartment lid and press inner retainers into place.
