Preliminary Procedure
- Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement

- Remove the communication interface module cover, if equipped.

Communication Interface Module Battery Procedure
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Reprogramming of the Module may be necessary after losing battery power.
