Installation Procedure

- Install the fuel rail and fuel injector (1).
- Connect the fuel rail and fuel injector connector.
- Connect the fuel feed line quick connect fitting to the fuel rail. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Install the positive crankcase ventilation hose. Refer to Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement

- Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

- Install the fuel rail retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 10 (89 lb in).

- Install the intake manifold bracket (2).
- Install the 2 intake manifold rear bracket bolts (up) (1) and tighten to 22 (16 lb ft).
- Install the intake manifold rear bracket bolt (down) (3) and tighten to 58 (42 lb ft).
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
