Preliminary Procedure Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
1	Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Fastener
2	Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Procedure Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from the engine coolant temperature sensor.
