July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify that no other DTCs are set except for C044A.
    • If no other DTCs are set 
  3. Replace the K43 Power Steering Control Module.
  4. Verify that DTC C044A does not set while operating the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC.
    • If DTC C044A sets 

      Replace the K20 Engine Control Module.

    • If the DTC C044A does not set 
  5. All OK.
