Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LF1) or Cooling System Draining and Filling - Vac-N-Fill (GE 47716) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LAU) .
- Remove the front bumper facia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement
- Remove the front compartment front sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement
- Remove the primary latch bracket. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Bracket Replacement
- Remove the cooling fan and shroud. Refer to Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement (LF1) or Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement (LAU)
- Remove the radiator air upper seal. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Seal Replacement
- Remove the radiator air lower seal. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Seal Replacement
- Remove the radiator air side seal. Refer to Radiator Air Seal Replacement
- Remove the radiator air side baffels. Refer to Radiator Air Side Baffle Replacement - Left Side andRadiator Air Side Baffle Replacement - Right Side
- Remove the air conditioning condenser. Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement (LF1) or Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement (LAU)
- Remove the radiator inlet hose. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LF1) or Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LAU)
- Remove the radiator outlet hose. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LF1) or Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LAU)
- Remove the radiator upper support bracket bolts (1).
- Remove the radiator upper support brackets (2).
- Remove the radiator (1) from the vehicle.
