Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement (Traverse)

1	Windshield Wiper Arm Nut Cap TIP: Lift up on rearward end of cap to disengage from rear wiper arm.
2	Rear Window Wiper Arm Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Remove the rear window wiper arm nut. Pivot the wiper arm in order to remove. Clean the knurls on the pivot shaft prior to installing the arm to the pivot shaft. Position the arm on the pivot shaft and the wiper blade to the center of the wavy defroster grid line. Hold the wiper arm in position while securing the rear window wiper arm nut. Tighten 9 (80 lb in)

Rear Window Wiper Arm Nut

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

Remove the rear window wiper arm nut.
Pivot the wiper arm in order to remove.
Clean the knurls on the pivot shaft prior to installing the arm to the pivot shaft.
Position the arm on the pivot shaft and the wiper blade to the center of the wavy defroster grid line.
Hold the wiper arm in position while securing the rear window wiper arm nut.

Tighten
9 (80 lb in)
