Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the catalytic converters. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side (LS3) , Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side (LS7) , and Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side (LS3) , Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side (LS7) .
  2. Drill out the catalytic converter heat shield rivets.
  3. Remove the catalytic converter heat shield.
