Preliminary Procedure
- Remove the front seat. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement
.
- Remove the front seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement
.
- Remove the front seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement

Lumbar Subsystem Procedure
- Disconnect the lumbar subsystem assembly from the seat back frame and lumbar support.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the tie straps attaching the pump to the torque tube under the seat.
- Remove the control module by unhooking the J strips from the seat cushion support wires.
- Remove the pump and the control module as an assembly.
