Removal Procedure

Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
Remove the spark plug wires. Refer to Spark Plug Wire Replacement .

Loosen each spark plug 1 or 2 turns.
Use a brush, or use compressed air in order to remove any dirt from the spark plugs.
Remove the spark plugs one at a time and place each plug in a tray marked with the corresponding cylinder numbers.
