Installation Procedure

  1. Install the evaporative emission canister to the vehicle.

  2. Install the evaporative emission canister retaining bolts (2), hand tighten only.
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Tighten the evaporative emission canister to vehicle retaining bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  4. Install the canister vent pipe (3) to the canister vent port.
  5. Align the canister purge pipe quick connector (1) with the canister purge pipe port and push the connector firmly onto the port.
  6. Install the rear frame. Refer to Rear Frame Replacement .
  7. Lower the vehicle.
