Removal Procedure

Ignition OFF.

Remove the air cleaner element. Refer to Air Cleaner Element Replacement .
Remove the air cleaner assembly to chassis retaining fasteners (1).
Apply suitable upward pressure to the air cleaner lower housing (3) to release the retainer (2).
Remove the air cleaner lower housing (3) from the vehicle.
