Object Alarm Module Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the right rear compartment side trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair).
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear object detection module.
3. Remove the mounting bolts from the rear object detection module.
4. Remove the rear object detection module from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the rear object detection module to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

2. Install the rear object detection module mounting bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the electrical connector to the rear object detection module and press in the locking tab.
4. Install the rear compartment side trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair).
5. Refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning) for programming and setup information.
