Installation Procedure

Coat the threads of the ECT sensor with sealer.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the ECT sensor into the EI system ignition coil adapter.
Tighten: Tighten the ECT sensor to 20 N.m (15 lb ft) .
Connect the ECT sensor connector.
Fill the coolant system.
Connect the negative battery cable.
