Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Pontiac Montana SV6, 2006 Chevrolet Uplander, and 2006 Buick Terraza. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the ELC/TRAILER fuse.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Fig 1: Locating Automatic Level Control Sensor Link Ball Stud

    IMPORTANT: When removing the link, do NOT bend or break the sensor arm.
  4. Remove the automatic level control sensor link from the rear suspension ball stud.
  5. Remove the ball stud from the rear suspension.
