Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the passenger seat from the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  2. Pull the carpet back to gain access to the sensor.
  3. Fig 1: Identifying Yaw Rate Sensor/Lateral Accelerometer, Nuts & Electrical Connector

  4. Remove the nuts (2) retaining the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer (1) to the vehicle.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer.
  6. Remove the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer from the vehicle.
