Installation Procedure

  1. Install the clutch cruise control release switch to the bracket.
  2. Fully seat the switch to the bracket.

    Audible clicks will be heard while pushing the switch.

  4. Rotate the threaded switch to adjust it to the closed position when the clutch pedal is fully released.
  5. Connect the clutch cruise control release switch electrical connector.
  6. Secure the clutch pedal cruise control release switch wiring harness to a surrounding wiring harness.

    Ensure that operation of the clutch pedal does not contact the clutch pedal cruise control release switch wiring harness or cause the switch to rotate.

  7. Install the LH I/P lower insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement .
  8. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (6.0L) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (7.0L) .
