Circuit/System Testing

  1. Connect a test lamp between the park enable signal circuit and battery positive voltage.
  2. Ignition ON, place the transmission in the PARK position. The test lamp should not illuminate.
    • If the test lamp does illuminate, repair the circuit for a short to ground.
  3. If all circuits test normal, test or replace the SEO device or BCM.
