Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (L36) or Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (L67) in Engine Mechanical-3.8L.
    2. Fig 1: Disconnecting/Reconnecting TP Sensor & Connector

  2. Disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector.

  3. Remove the 2 TP sensor screws.

  4. Remove the TP sensor.
