Removal Procedure
- Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement
in Engine Mechanical - 3.8L.
- Remove the cruise control cable from the throttle body lever.
- Remove the cruise control cable (1) from the bracket (2).

- Remove accelerator cable from the throttle body lever.
- Remove the accelerator cable (2) from the bracket (1).

- Remove the accelerator controls cable bracket bolts.
- Remove the accelerator controls cable bracket from the throttle body.
